Spring Forward

Even though it's gloomier now, the preceding ten days of 80-degree weather has awakened in me excitement for spring and summer dressing - lighter layers, lighter colors, lighter fabrics. I'm inspired by this shot of the Salton Sea: its simplicity and color palette are exactly what I'm looking for this spring. The fabrics I'm especially looking for are silk, cotton, and chambray.

Here are a few things I'm inspired by as the rain clouds return and I'm left only dreaming about the warmer weather to come.
